Evidence
What is demonstrated, what is assumed, and what remains unsupported?
Independent pre-diligence
We assess the evidence, surface the risks, and help founders build a case that investors can evaluate and defend.
The gap we close
Investor interest is not investor conviction. A venture moves forward when an investment analyst, scout, or internal champion can explain the evidence, defend the risks, and show how the next milestone changes the investment case.
Technical founders often receive fragmented advice. VSL connects the science, market, regulatory path, commercial traction, team, and financing plan into one investment logic.
The Venture Stage Lens
We examine the case as an investor would: as a system of claims, evidence, dependencies, and risks.
What is demonstrated, what is assumed, and what remains unsupported?
Who needs this, who pays, and what proves the urgency is real?
Which technical, regulatory, commercial, and adoption risks shape the decision?
Can this team reach the next value-inflecting milestone with the proposed plan?
Does the raise create a more valuable and financeable company?
Can an investor explain and defend the case when the founder leaves the room?
From finding to fix
Every priority is paired with the structure, example, or first draft needed to move forward.
Priority finding
Two hospital innovation teams have responded positively, but neither conversation has a defined owner, study agreement, timeline, or next decision. Investors cannot distinguish clinical interest from institutional commitment.
Define a clinically meaningful primary endpoint aligned with the intended use. If 30-day unplanned readmission is retained, specify the patient population, comparator, baseline event rate, target absolute effect, and a powered analysis plan. Treat readmission as exploratory for a 42-patient feasibility study unless the numbers support otherwise. Convert hospital interest into three execution-ready sites. Complete an independent regulatory strategy and build a hospital adoption case identifying the clinical champion, economic buyer, budget source, workflow impact, expected ROI, and evidence supporting the proposed price.
The VSL Investor Readiness Sprint prepares a focused cohort of science-based ventures for investor scrutiny without adding another generic workshop.
Three priority blockers, practical examples, a working session, and revised investor-facing material.
A consistent assessment method, cohort-level insight, and clearer evidence of founder progress.
Founders leave with stronger materials and a focused evidence plan.
